Campfire ringed with stones beside a moving river — Fire and Water

Featured Story

Fire and Water

Fire stays.
Water moves.

Some moments happen where opposites agree—warmth holding its ground while the river reminds time to pass.

I didn't light this to fight the cold, only to listen: to the crackle, to the current, and to the silence in between.

Some places don't want to be photographed. They want to be remembered.

By Subject

I photograph the spaces between movement and stillness.

A passing face, an unfamiliar street, fog beyond a train window, light resting briefly on a landscape—these moments often disappear before they are fully noticed.

Photography allows me to remain with them a little longer.

Snow-dusted mountain above concrete rail pillars, seen between Ankara and İstanbul

Between Ankara and İstanbul

Some mountains don't ask you to stop.

They let you pass, quietly watching through fog and steel.

This photograph was taken from a high-speed train somewhere between Ankara and İstanbul—motion beneath me, stillness towering ahead.

I didn't slow down for the frame. Life didn't either.

Yet for a few seconds, speed and silence shared the same window.

Some views aren't destinations. They are reminders that movement doesn't erase depth.
